Occupational Therapy with 123ot.

It occurred to us that we’d like you to get to know us better. What better way than to start with our story? We (this will always be referring to Staci and Rachel) both chose occupational therapy as a career many years ago. We each had our reasons to join the profession, but it boiled down to wanting to help others.

Fast forward to 2019, after over 10 years of being OTs, and the toll of working for large corporations in the healthcare industry was quite evident. Rachel decided there had to be a better way to continue being an OT without sacrificing the core on which the profession was built. Research into becoming a practice owner was underway! Then she told Staci about her plans and Staci knew she had to join.

We built the company at the start of 2020 from the ground up. Both of us were dealing with career burnout, family deaths, serious family injuries, and the list goes on… Then came the pandemic. When the world seemingly turned upside down and fear was palpable. We were thrust into the “frontlines” as home health practitioners whose most important job at the time was to keep sick people out of the hospitals. Every day we came home to our families, threw out our used PPE, stripped down in our respective garages, showered, and prayed we hadn’t brought anything else home with us but paperwork. It was a low point for many healthcare workers and we were honestly the lucky ones.

Even despite what was uncontrollable, we knew we COULD control how we reacted. And that meant continuing to build our company to fulfill our dreams, but more importantly to make a difference in a world that seemed to need it more than ever. We became insurance credentialing experts, billing gurus, administrative assistants, website creators, and social media managers to boot! We put our hearts, our time, our souls into creating 123OT. Because we knew that our community needed more options. That families needed alternatives and the ability to choose a company or a therapist for being a good fit. We hope you know that what is important to YOU is what is important to US. We are honored when you entrust us with your most precious gifts on earth - because we as mothers also understand how hard it can be to ask for help.

We continue to expand what we can offer this amazing community. We promise to make you a priority. We promise we will not take your trust in us lightly. If you want to know how we can support your family please reach out!
